Looking for a smartphone with a slick looking paint job? Then HTC may have just what you’ve been waiting for.
The Taiwanese company just announced that a new color version of its recent flagship. Besides Sapphire Blue, Amazing Silver and Brilliant Black, the handset maker is now offering a fourth option called Solar Red.
And the good news is that Canadian customers will be able to place a pre-order for the glossy red smartphone starting June 20, just like their American counterparts.
HTC fans can secure their red HTC U11 for $899 CAD, just like the earlier versions of the device. The phone is compatible with major carriers in the country including Freedom Mobile.
In case you don’t remember, let us remind you the HTC U11 ships out with a 5.5-inch display with 2560 x 1440 resolution, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The flagship product includes a Snapdragon 835 processor under the hood, as well as host of virtual assistants including Google Assistant, HTC’s own Sense Companion and Amazon’s Alexa (coming soon via update).
Perhaps the phone’s most interesting feature is the Edge Sense frame which when squeezed triggers certain actions.
