Samsung Galaxy S8 may get BOGO deal at T-Mobile beginning May 12

Buying one smartphone and getting another one free is a pretty good deal, so for anyone that’s been thinking about picking up a Galaxy S8 from Samsung and happens to be a T-Mobile subscriber (or is willing to become one), you may want to wait another day before making the jump.

As reported by TmoNews, a leaked document suggests that the Un-carrier may be starting a buy one, get one (BOGO) deal for the Samsung Galaxy S8 beginning Friday, May 12. The limited time event will be available for both new customers and existing ones, as long as you pick up a Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ on a Equipment Installment Plan (EIP).

To qualify for the BOGO offer, you’ll also need to sign up for T-Mobile’s ONE plan or a Simple Choice Unlimited plan. You’ll then need to submit the offer code “17SAMBOGO” on T-Mobile’s dedicated Promotion Center website. Once that’s done, you’ll get a $750 MasterCard rebate card to use towards that second Galaxy S8.

It’s worth noting that if you pick up a Galaxy S8+, you’ll still get a $750 rebate card, which is $100 less than the full retail price of the Galaxy S8+. So you’ll either need to fork over an extra $100 to get the bigger device, or go with the Galaxy S8 if you want a totally free handset.

Unfortunately, there’s no word on how long the event will be running, so if it does end up happening, you might want to act quickly.

Who’s going for it?
