Samsung’s Galaxy Note5 had some company in last night’s announcement, with the unveiling of the similarly sized, similarly spec’d Galaxy S6 edge+.
Replacing what was previously our first look at Samsung’s line of handsets with a curved display, the S6 edge+ has a dual-sided display, like the S6 edge and unlike the Note Edge which at the time was the last gen Note 4’s closest sibling.
Galaxy S6 edge+ aside from its lengthy name shares many of its components with the Galaxy Note5, including a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED QHD panel, a hearty 4GB LPDDR4 RAM, and Samsung’s own Exynos 7420 octa-core chip, all sustained by a 3000mAh non-removable battery.
