Following a leak that gave us a clear look at the Nokia 9 PureView, another leak has surfaced that's spilled even more info on the upcoming flagship.
A promo video for the Nokia 9 PureView has made its way online, showing off the unannounced Android One phone and spilling many of its spec details. Shared by MySmartPrice, the video confirms that the Nokia 9 PureView will have five rear cameras with ZEISS optics, also teasing features that include "5 simultaneous shots with 10x more light captured" compared to a standard smartphone camera color sensor.
The Nokia 9 PureView also offers a 5.99-inch 2K HDR10 screen with an in-display fingerprint sensor, a Snapdragon 845 processor, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and Qi wireless charging. On the software side, the Nokia 9 PureView will come preloaded with Android 9 Pie, and this Android One phone will get two years of software updates.
The video doesn't reveal when the Nokia 9 PureView will launch or how much it'll cost, but rumors have suggested that it could be announced at the end of January. Considering that we've seen official images and a promo video leak in the last week, it seems likely that an announcement is close.
The Nokia 9 PureView is starting to look like it could be a pretty great smartphone when it launches, offering high-end specs and Android 9 Pie with two years of updates. The penta-lens camera setup is interesting, too, even though we don't yet know what all five of those cameras can do. Here's to hoping we find out more soon.
