Rumors said that HTC planned on hosting an event on November 2, and it turns out the rumor mill was right again.
Thanks to the official HTC Twitter account, we’ve got November 2 as the next date to circle on the calendar. The company’s tweet is pretty straightforward, simply reading, “We’re bringing something new for the #BrilliantU”. There are some stylized structures in the background of the picture along with the gigantic “U” right up front.
HTC asks everyone to save the date, November 2, and that’s about it as far as the event announcement is concerned. There doesn’t appear to be any teases or hints as to what the company will announce in two weeks. However, we may have got our first glimpse at the new product yesterday.
The rumor mill revealed the HTC U11 Plus, which appears to be a version of the U11 with a slightly bigger display and a few other tweaks. It will still have that same eye-catching mirror design, though, which is nice.
