OnePlus is pushing out a new update to its flagship. The OnePlus 5 is now receiving an OTA for OxygenOS 4.5.7. You won’t be getting a new version of Android, but it does include the July 1 security patch.
Another addition is the OnePlus Slate font, which can be selected in settings but won’t be the default. You’ll also get EIS in 4K video recording mode. This feature was previously exclusive to 1080p recording, but now you’ll get stabilization in ultra HD.
Other additions include improved WiFi connectivity, standby battery enhancements, and some bug fixes. The rollout starts today so some people are getting the update now. If you’re not, hold out and you’ll get it soon!
