Gold smartphones are officially a thing, and the OnePlus 3 was one of the devices that took part in that trend. Now the OnePlus 5 is, too.
The OnePlus 5 is now available in Soft Gold. This model comes with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage and its priced at $479, just like the Slate Gray model. The OnePlus 5 Soft Gold release info for India will be announced “soon.”
Also of note is that this OnePlus 5 Soft Gold is described as being a limited edition model. OnePlus doesn’t say just how limited it is, but if you want one, you may want to act fast.
In addition to this OnePlus 5 Soft Gold unit, there’s a new OnePlus 5 Slate Gray with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage coming soon. This color is currently only available with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, but “in the coming weeks”, you’ll have the option of buying a 8GB/128GB Slate Gray model for $539.
