LG V30 confirmed for August 31 debut

Back in July, LG released an invitation to a major event it was holding at IFA 2017, where it was hinted the V30 would debut. Now the company is back at it with a new invite for the August 31 event, but it’s no longer hinting that the V30 will be unveiled, and instead it’s outright confirming the upcoming smartphone.

The new invite was published to LG’s blog and confirms the LG V30 name along with a few other tidbits. Specifically, we now know for sure that the upcoming phone will have a 6-inch OLED display with an 18:9 aspect ratio.

LG also confirmed that it will have its own logo only on the back of the phone, not below the display. LG is aiming for a “minimalistic design” with the V30, so moving the logo to the back of the phone should help with that. LG is also, unsurprisingly, talking up the V30′s camera, so it should be interesting to see what improvements the Life’s Good crew brings to the table.

August 31 isn’t too far away, so we don’t have long to wait before LG unveils the next big thing in its portfolio. Are you looking forward to seeing the V30?
