Google recently said that it expects 11 Daydream-compatible phones to be available by the end of 2017, and today you can get a discounted Daydream VR headset to use with those phones.
The Google Daydream View VR headset is now on sale. The Snow version is available for $59 at Amazon and Best Buy, while the Slate color is $63 at Amazon and $59 at Best Buy. If you’d prefer Crimson, you can get it for $75 at Amazon or $59 at Best Buy.
For reference, Google normally asks $79 for the Daydream View.
These are some solid deals on Google’s Daydream View — most of them are, anyway — and so this could be a good time to grab a VR headset if you’ve been interested in trying Daydream VR.
The phones that currently support Daydream VR include the Pixel, Pixel XL, Moto Z, Huawei Mate 9, ZTE Axon 7, and ASUS ZenFone AR, and the Galaxy S8 and S8+ will soon gain support for Daydream VR.
