When they launched last year, Snapchat Spectacles were fairly tough to come by because they were only available from a single vending machine that would randomly pop up in different U.S. cities. Fast-forward to today, though, and they’re much easier to obtain.
Spectacles are now available from Amazon for $129.99. The Black, Coral, and Teal color options are all in stock, and the Spectacles are eligible for two-day shipping for Prime members.
With Spectacles, you can record 10, 20, or 30 second videos clips with your sunglasses and then share them to Snapchat, and the videos appear as a neat circular video on viewers’ devices. Snaps you take with Spectacles are also saved to your Memories on Snapchat. Each pair of Spectacles comes with a charging case and cable, a cleaning cloth, and a one-year warranty.
Snap’s Spectacles may not have quite the same hype now as it did last year thanks at least in part their expanded availability, but it’s still a neat device for anyone that uses Snapchat regularly. Not only do Spectacles free your hands to help you do more interesting things with your Snaps, but they help your Snaps to stand out with circular video and a unique perspective.
