Samsung Bixby Voice update adds support for Pandora, Yelp, and Google Play

In the United States, Samsung‘s Bixby Voice is still only available for early access enrollees, and now those who are trying it out have three new apps to test with Bixby.

Droid-Life reports that the latest update to Bixby Voice and Bixby Home brings voice control options to Google Play, Pandora, and Yelp. For Google Play, users can tell Bixby to find an app in the Play Store and download it, but that appears to be it.

For Pandora and Yelp, the options are a bit more expansive. Yelp users can ask Bixby Voice to open the app and look for the top-rated restaurant in their area or any area where Yelp has ratings. So saying something like, “Open Yelp and find the best Japanese restaurant in Seattle,” should pull up results.

Pandora support means users can tell Bixby to open the app and play a specific radio station. Both updates are available now, so opening up the Bixby app should prompt the installation of both. Of course, you’ll need to be part of the early access program to have a chance at trying it out.

Are you part of the Bixby Voice early program, and, if so, how are you liking it so far?
