Pretty much every manufacturer has uploaded a suite of apps to the Play Store. This makes it easier to update them, adding features and fixing bugs without pushing a large software update out to devices.
OnePlus is finally joining the party by putting its launcher up on the Play Store, following the recent upload of the OnePlus Weather app. Though it doesn’t seem to have any new features over what shipped on OnePlus devices, it’s a great move by the company. Having its apps on the Play Store makes updates a breeze.
