Moto X4 Leak Reveals Snapdragon 630, IP68 Rating, 3000 mAh Battery

Motorola put the Moto X lineup on hold once it released the Moto Z family in 2016. But this year, Motorola will be bringing back the brand by introducing the Moto X4.

In a recent article for Venture Beat, prominent leakster @evleaks sheds light on the specs of the upcoming phone. We know it will be coming to the US and now we have to wonder whether it will make it into Canada, as well.

According to Evan Blass, the Moto X4 will come equipped with a 5.2-inch fullHD display (1920 x 1080) and take advantage of a Snapdragon 630 processor (an octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz) in combination with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage (microSD card slot also available).

The Moto X4 will also bring a dual camera setup into the picture which should pair an 8-megapixel sensor with a 12-megapixel one. On the front, the phone will include a 16-megapixel selfie snapper.

We’re also told the phone will have IP68 certification, 3,000 mAh battery and Android 7.1 Nougat on board. Like in the case of the Moto G5 Plus, the Moto X4 will have a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button which also supports gestures for back or opening up the multitasking window.
