LG G6 Mini Variant to Be Launched as ‘LG Q6’ in Q4

LG recently unveiled a pumped up version of its G6 flagship called the G6+ which brought along 128GB of internal storage and DAC audio to more markets.

LG is also gearing up to introduce a lower-end version of the G6, which so far the rumour mill dubbed the G6 mini. But according to recent information coming to us from reliable leakster @evleaks, the phone will be launched on the market as the LG Q6.

The device will carry the same 18:9 aspect ratio we saw on the fully fledged LG G6, but will include a smaller 5.4-inch panel with a screen and body ratio just under 80%. For comparison’s sake, the LG G6 has a 78.6% screen-to-body ratio.

@evleaks also reveals the LG Q6 will probably feature only 3GB of RAM and a singular 13-megapixel sensor on the back. There’s no info about processor, but we doubt it’s going to be fueled by the Snapdragon 821, it’s probably going to be a middle-range Snapdragon instead.

Given the specs, we expect the LG Q6 to be affordably priced when it arrives sometimes in Q4. No word yet on how much LG plans to charge for one of these “mini” G6s.

Would you consider picking up a LG Q6?
