The latest Android O Developer Preview that was released today features a new Easter egg that replaces the one we’ve seen for the last three dev previews. It’s an octopus floating around your screen, able to be dragged around but otherwise pretty mundane.
But wait, is Android O going to be called Android Octopus? Who considers octopus a dessert? It’s more of an appetizer than anything. But the Easter egg makes sense, since this is the eighth version of Android. Maybe it’s just a teaser and we’ll be seeing a proper dessert name on the final release. Maybe we’ll even see a partnership with a certain cookie maker.
