Verizon launches LG K20 V and Samsung Galaxy J7 V

Verizon Wireless has confirmed it is launching two new Android smartphones today, one from LG and the other from Samsung.

First up is the LG K20 V, which features a 5.3-inch HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, and a 13-megapixel camera on the back. There’s a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage, and a microSD card slot for expandable storage. It’s running Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, and its battery measures in at 2800mAh.

Next, the Samsung Galaxy J7 V. This is a handset with a 5.5-inch 720p HD display, an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, and an 8-megapixel camera on the back. On the front, there’s a 5MP front-facing shooter, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage, and a microSD card slot. The battery measures in at 3300mAh, and it’s running Android 7.0.1 Nougat.

Both handsets are available beginning today. The LG K20 V costs $7 per month for 24 months. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy J7 V is available on both postpaid and prepaid plans, priced at $10 per month for 24 months on the former plan, or $240 on the latter plan.
