The Galaxy S8 is coming and boy, are we super excited to see it arrive. And while release dates have been thrown around, so far we didn’t really know for sure when to expect the Galaxy S8 to arrive in Canada.
Well according to BGR which cites a senior supply chain source with knowledge of one Canadian cell carrier’s plans, the Galaxy S8 will start shipping out to Canadian users on April 28. In all possibility, the Galaxy S8 will become available on the same date in the US as well.
So, now that you know the plan you can start making your battle plan – especially if you want to be one of the early Galaxy S8 adopters. The LG G6 scored 20,000 pre-orders on the first day, so we expect Samsung’s flagship at least to match this number, if not exceed it.
However, some customers might not be so keen to hurry up and order the Galaxy S8. After the Note7 fiasco, it might be safe to sit back and see how the phone behaves in real life. Wait a few months, read some reviews and then if all evidence shows the Galaxy S8 is a safe phone, you can go ahead and purchase it.
Still, this would be an extreme level of precaution. Samsung has certainly learned a lot from the Note7 debacle and has installed new, advanced safety protocols to ensure the Galaxy S8 won’t be anything like the previous phablet.
