Super Mario Run is Nintendo’s first major push into gaming on smart devices, but it was a launch exclusive for iOS devices in December 2016. Before the end of 2016, though, Nintendo opened up pre-registration for the endless runner, suggesting that the game would be launching soon. Nintendo went quiet immediately after that, but has finally changed.
The official Nintendo Twitter account (@Nintendo) today said that Super Mario Run will launch on Android in March 2017. Unfortunately, there isn’t an exact date to circle on the calendar just yet.
For anyone that has been anticipating the launch, Super Mario Run for Android is almost here. It will likely be like the iOS version by being free to install but cost $9.99 to unlock all of the content.
