In early October, Facebook launched an Events-focused app for iOS, and now the app has finally arrived for Android users.
As the name of the app suggests, it’s entirely focused on making it easier than ever before for Facebook users to keep tabs on events happening around them. The app will also give you event recommendations, show you events that your friends are planning on attending, and more.
Events from Facebook makes it possible to whittle down the selection of events you might be interested in based on filters you put in place, like date, time, and the category of the event. With the new app, finding an event to go to should be pretty easy, especially compared to using the stock Facebook app.
