If OPPO’s ColorOS skin was keeping you from choosing an OPPO handset, there’s now something worth getting seriously excited about.
OPPO’s own AOSP ROM with ColorOS features baked in, dubbed “Project Spectrum” has officially dropped and is available as a public beta for owners of the OPPO Find 7. The ROM takes some of the highlight features of ColorOS within the familiar Material Design interface that is vanilla Android, such as screen-off gestures, Pure Image suite with the ColorOS camera app, MaxxAudio and Dirac HD sound enhancers.
