Leaks claim to shed more light on HTC Hima flagship, HTC A12

Jonesing for more details on the HTC Hima, the device that may be HTC’s next flagship smartphone? Well that’s precisely what we’ve got for you today.

According to Upleaks, the source of the original HTC Hima rumor, HTC’s next big Android phone will measure 144.3 x 69.4 x 9.65mm. If you’re not familiar with the dimensions of the One (M7) and One (M8) — and really, we can’t blame you if you aren’t — they measure 137.4 x 68.2 x 93.mm and 146.4 x 70.6 x 9.4mm, respectively.

The HTC One (M8) has been criticized for being a bit too tall thanks to its front-facing BoomSound speakers and the HTC logo beneath its display. Thankfully, this new leak claims that the Hima will be a bit shorter while keeping the same 5-inch 1920×1080 display found on the One (M8).

This recent leak also claims that the HTC Hima will be offered in four colors: gray, silver, gold, and “gunmetal gold.” Finally, the Hima will reportedly be compatible with a lengthy list of accessories that includes a Dot View Case, DecoStand Case, Active Case, and Active Headset.

Along with the Hima, Upleaks has shed some light on a new device named the “HTC A12.” The A12 is rumored to be launching on AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon in the U.S. with a 4.7-inch HD screen, 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 display, 8-megapixel rear and 1.3-megapixel front cameras, 1GB of RAM, Android 4.4, and a 2100mAh battery. The A12 is expected to launch in February 2015.
