ZTE Grand X Max bringing its 6-inch display to Cricket this week

Looks like the ZMAX isn’t the only phablet that ZTE’s got up its sleeve.

ZTE today announced the Grand X Max, a new phablet for Cricket Wireless. The ZTE Grand X Max is even larger than its ZMAX sibling, touting a 6-inch display with a resolution of 1280×720. Yeah, it’s a big ‘un. Here’s how the Grand X Max’s full spec list breaks down:

  • 6-inch 1280×720 display

  • 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor

  • 8-megapixel rear, 1-megapixel front cameras

  • 8GB of storage

  • microSD card slot

  • 1GB of RAM

  • 3200mAh battery

  • Qualcomm Quick Charge 1.0 technology

  • Android 4.4

  • Peel Smart Remote app for personalized TV recommendations, pairing with home entertainment system and mobile devices

Luckily for Cricket customers, the ZTE Grand X Max’s price tag isn’t large like its screen. The Grand X Max will be available from Cricket stores and the operator’s website this Friday, October 10, for $199.99 without a commitment.

What do you think of the ZTE Grand X Max? Would you use a phone with a 6-inch display as your daily driver?
