LG confirms G Watch R will launch in South Korea next week

LG has just confirmed a report we covered earlier today by South Korean news publication, ET News, proposing that it was gearing up to launch the markets second circular-faced Android Wear watch in South Korea next Tuesday, October 14, by issuing a press release. Unfortunately, the statement on LG’s official blog gives no word on pricing, but does notify us that the G Watch R will be available from both its online and nationwide bricks-and-mortar stores, as well as a ‘select’ number of third-party independent South Korean retail shops. LG has not revealed any information with regards to the G Watch R’s launch in any region other than Korea as of yet, but do be sure to check back as we’ll let you know as and when it does. Source: LG
