Last week a Sony device carrying model number D6603 was spotted in an FCC filing. A new device going by model number D6653, which has been identified as the Sony Xperia Z3 has surfaced in a new filing with a new FCC ID number, PY7PM-0806. It is suspected this is the international version of the Xperia Z3 which will surface in Asian markets, notably in Japan with NTT DoCoMo. Like the filing for the D6603, this latest update does not provide much in the way of useful information other than serving as an indicator that the device is very close to being released to the market. Sources suspect Sony is shooting for a September release date.
