For nearly half a decade, Google has been barred by a Grecian privacy authority from bringing its Maps Street View service online in the country, citing concerns of, you guessed it, privacy. After significant negotiation, last year that authority authorized Google to start using collected data from its Street View vehicles (which, in Europe, appear to be Astra diesel 5-door hatches) on Google Maps. As of yesterday, Google finally published the first street view images for Greece.
