Motorola recently won four Red Dot design awards, something that has never been done before, and today a blog post was posted to the Motorola blogspot that detailed how honored they were. These awards were given for a number of products that were released in this past year, including the Moto X.
Other products that received awards were 3 of the companies Bluetooth-enabled devices, the Motorola Roadster Pro automotive speaker, the Motorola Whisper and the Motorola Sliver II headsets.
The Red Dot awards are an international design competition that has been around since 1954. Products are judged by group of design experts and winners are selected based on their ability to display the highest level of design and innovation.
Motorola went on to say that design has always been central to the company, and that the same spirit for design would continue on in future designs like the Moto 360.
