For those of you hoping that Nokia will grace us Android enthusiasts with a premium phone running our favorite OS. However even if the rumors that are circulating are true, and Android is coming to a Nokia device, it appears that it’s a forked version of the OS. Assuming that’s the case, access to Google’s Play Store may not be available. Given that we’re in a post Microsoft acquisition phase for Nokia those chances are even smaller.
The device looks reminiscent of a Ashia running Series 40 software. Even as such this is strictly speculative as no one is sure even such a device will ever make it to market. While we’re all hopeful that someday Nokia will bring their amazing hardware to us, if current rumors ring true, this is not the Android we’re looking for. Even if it could come in multiple colors.
