E FUN is ready to bring some new tablets to the market during 2014 and at least two of them will be on display next week at CES 2014. The new devices are both quad-core powered tablets running Android 4.2 and will come in 8-inch and 10-inch sizes. The Nextbook 8 and Nextbook 10 will be on display during the event and E FUN indicates they will be available during the first quarter of 2014 for $129.99 and $149.99 respectively. Although not ready to make the journey to the event, E FUN also indicates they will be coming out with a 7-inch Nextbook 7 which will sell for $99.99 when it is released during Q1.
The Nextbook 8 and Nextbook 10 will share much of the same hardware with quad-core processors running at 1.6 GHz, 1GB of RAM, a 2 MP rear-facing camera. E FUN says both tablets are designed with narrow bezels and along with the usual package of Google apps being preloaded, will come with the Barnes and Noble NOOK for Android app so users can jump right in to using the device as an e-reader. The devices differ in screen resolution, with the smaller 8-inch tablet running at 1024×768 on a screen measuring 7.85-inches while the Nextbook 10 will run at 1024×600 on a 10.1-inch screen. The Nextbook 10 will come with twice the internal memory of the Nextbook 8 at 16GB and 8GB respectively. Both devices will have a microSD slot supporting up to 32GB of additional memory.
E FUN says the 7-inch model will have a dual-core processor and a 7-inch screen running at 1024×600 resolution with 8GB of on-board memory.
