In targeting the entry-level market, Samsung will be releasing the Galaxy Core Advance in early 2014. The device will be specifically for emerging markets and consumers that want a smartphone on a budget. Behind its 4.7-inch WVGA screen, the Galaxy Core Advance has a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz with 1GB of RAM. A 5MP camera is on the back and Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC are also present. The 8GB of storage can be expanded since there is a microSD card slot on the handset. Android 4.2 is at the core with Samsung’s layers of TouchWiz on top. There is no release date yet for the Galaxy Core Advance, but we do know that it will come in deep blue or pearl white.
