NVIDIA updates Tegra Note 7 to Android 4.3, includes Always On HDR

NVIDIA’s Tegra Note 7 tablet is a bit of a tech demo, showing off what amazing things can be done with the Tegra 4 processor. It’s NVIDIA’s compelling argument for manufacturers to use the Tegra 4 chipset, or so I assume. But it’s an awesome little tablet that really has a good bang for your buck.

The latest update to it adds features that were promised early on, along with many improvements. The update brings the tablet to Android 4.3, which is important to many. But it also adds the always-on HDR feature, which uses the Tegra 4 processor to quickly process HDR with no significant delay. Then there are smaller things, like DirectStylus enhancements, stylus left hand support, video stabilization and the ability to move apps to the external SD, as well.

It’s actually quite a large update, making this 7-inch tablet much more appealing. And at $200, it’s already quite appealing with a stylus and front facing speakers. If you own one of these devices, check for updates as it is rolling out now. And if you want one, head over to Newegg and pick one up!
