Asus dual-booting Android/Windows tablet teased for CES 2014

Asus on Monday released a strange teaser event for its January 6 CES 2014 media event, teasing a dual-booting Android/Windows tablet that could be unveiled during the pre-show event.

In the short video above, you can see the Statue of Liberty playing with what appears to be a color-changing tablet. The colors are green and blue, hinting the device will be able to run Android an Windows, respectively, depending on your needs. However, nothing is official just yet, and Asus will not say anything about it for a couple of more weeks, although we could see other teasers posted on its YouTube channel in the following days.

The title of the video implies that this is just the first teaser for the Asus CES 2014, which is interestingly called “In Search of Incredible.” Furthermore, the company uses the title as well to suggest that a dual-booting device with Android and Windows powers may be unveiled: “Green or Blue? One or Two?”

We’ll note that Asus already has dual-booting Android/Windows device in stores, including the Transformer Book Trio and the Transformer All-in-One.

The ASUS press event, which takes place a day ahead of the official CES 2014 kick-off, will be live streamed by the company.
