We’re still waiting on some kind of announcement about Android 4.4, and KitKat knows that. Today they posted a short animation video on their official Google+ page in another tease for the elusive version of Android. The video stars two little Androids, one of which is trying to eat a KitKat. The second Android is dressed as a magician and “borrows” a piece of the KitKat to use a wand to perform a magic trick. Unfortunately, the magician’s magic “trick” is really to just eat the KitKat and disappear.
Maybe there isn’t really anything to read into here, and it’s really just a small ad for KitKat to run. They could be trying to hint that KitKat will be announced on Halloween, which seems to be the latest rumor since the 28th has come and gone, but even that isn’t supported by many details from the animation. The video is pretty short and fun to watch either way, and you can check it out below.
