Samsung has brought curved displays to the masses with devices like the S6 Edge, S6 Edge+ and Note Edge and according to a new rumour, they’re going to aid another company in doing the same thing. According to a tip on Chinese micro blogging site Weibo, Samsung will be supplying Huawei with dual-edged displays not unlike the ones found on the S6 Edge and S6 Edge+.
According to the rumour, the displays will be of the 2K SuperAMOLED variety. The size of the display was not noted but Huawei is allegedly planning to manufacture 3 million units per month. That’s quite a high number which makes me think that this display might be making its way onto Huawei’s next flagship device.
We generally don’t get the high-end Huawei’s here in Canada but the company is looking to expand their market so who knows, we might just see this device here in the future.
