I’ve got some pretty big news to share with you guys! I’ve received a tip from a reliable source that Samsung’s upcoming phablet duo, the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+, will be launching very very soon! How soon? Well according to the tip, the devices will be available for purchase here in Canada on August 21. That’s just over a week after the expected announcement and just 11 days from now!
In addition to the release date, I also received a couple of spec lists. As previous rumours had indicated, the Galaxy Note 5 will sport a 5.66″ QHD display, Octo-Core processor, 32GB of internal storage, 16MP camera, and a nice and hefty 4100 mAh battery. As for the S6 Edge+, the device will have a 5.67″ QHD display, Octo-Core processor, 16MP camera and 3000 mAh battery. The S6 Edge+ will also come in to variants, a 32GB model and a 64GB model.
Now I’m not going to say that I’m 100% on this but I do very much trust my source and I’m very hopeful that this date is accurate.
