Ever since Android 5.0 for the Samsung Galaxy S5 leaked out earlier this month, we’re sure that you Galaxy S4 owners have been thinking, “Hey, what about us?” Your time has come, friends.
A new leak has surfaced that gives us a preview of Android 5.0 Lollipop (build LRX02E) running on the Samsung Galaxy S4. The update has been TouchWiz-zed, and as such it looks fairly reminiscent of that Galaxy S5 leak from earlier in November. We can see the new Lollipop lock screen notifications, refreshed TouchWiz apps and more.
There have been no rumors to suggest when the Galaxy S4 update will be pushed to us regular Joes, but hey, at lest we know that Samsung is hard at work on the update. And while the software shown in today’s leak is still early, its performance looks nice and smooth, and so it should help breathe some new life into those aging Galaxy S4’s out there.
