Verizon has announced today that they are expanding the amount of out-of-home streaming channels available through the FiOS Mobile app. Previously there were twenty-five channels and the addition of sixteen new ones brings the total to forty-one channels. Showtime, Cooking Channel, and STARZ are a few of the new channels being added.
Also being added for New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C. FiOS subscribers is the ability to stream local CBS and FOX affiliate stations to their devices. Spanish language channels UniMas and Univision have been added, too. Just head on over to the app to start viewing them instantly.
