Sprint offers up to three free lines on Black Friday

T-Mobile and Sprint are once again duking it out in terms of deals this holiday season. T-Mobile just unveiled its biggest Black Friday offer, and now Sprint is looking to one-up its rival by offering customers up to three free lines on its Unlimited Freedom plan. Customers who switch at least one line to Sprint’s Unlimited Freedom plan can receive their third, fourth, and fifth lines free, bringing the price to just $20 per line, per month for a family of five. That’s five lines for $100/month, though the price for the third, fourth and fifth lines does increase to $30/month  after January 31, 2018.

This price is significantly less than other carriers during its promotional period, with a T-Mobile equivalent plan priced at $160/month and an AT&T equivalent priced at $220/month. It is worth noting the increase in price after the promotional period, however. This price increase leads to customers only saving a modest amount in the long run, with the major savings front-loaded.
